Tarangire National Park

OVERVIEW
Tarangire is defined by two things: ancient baobab trees and elephants. In the dry season, wildlife concentrates along the Tarangire River in remarkable numbers, and the park hosts some of the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania — all beneath a skyline of giant baobabs.
